BRICK THROWING CHAMPIONSHIP CELEBRATES 50 YEARS

Dozens of strong, and some not-so strong men were flexing their muscles in Stroud, for the town’s 50th annual brick and rolling-pin throwing championship.
The event is part of an international contest, which sees competitors battle it out to be crowned the best brick thrower in the world.
The three towns called “Stroud” in America, England and here in Australia take part in the contest on the same day, and once their results are compared, an international winner is crowned.
The Brickthrowing event was one of the best country town events I’ve ever been too! Loved the atmosphere, food and parade.
So glad you had a good time James
A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the day. It was a huge success for our town. The international results should be available in the next few hours. Keep and eye on our website http://www.visitstroudvalley.com.au to see how the Australian Team fared.
Would like to find results of both brick and rolling pin from local area Stroud nsw
