STUDENTS LOCKED DOWN AT WOOLGOOLGA HIGH SCHOOL

A 14-year-old mid north coast student has been released without charge, after being questioned following accusations he threatened pupils and staff at Woolgoolga High.

The school went into lockdown while police scoured nearby bushland for the boy, who had allegedly claimed to have a gun.

  1. it was so scary! i go to Woolgoolga high, but i knew it would be okay, we just had to stay in the classroom for about an hour or so. The thing that scared me was that the police were there with bullet proof vests! I’m glad i wasn’t outside at the time. My friend started crying, her mum came to the school just before we all went into lock down, and she thought that her mum might have been shot. But I knew for certain it wouldn’t get that bad.
