An air and sea search was mounted off the coast of Newcastle today, after a body was spotted floating near Merewether Beach.
Police believe it could be that of a woman, washed off rocks at Catherine Hill Bay earlier this month, or a 65-year-old man who went missing on Sunday while sailing between Port Stephens and Hexham.
