Newcastle hotels could be subjected to even earlier closing times, if residents spokesman Tony Brown gets his way.
While Newcastle Council is planning on installing CCTV cameras throughout the city to combat alcohol-fuelled violence, Mr Brown says further restrictions on pubs would be more effective.
