A man is thought to have been train surfing before he fell to his death on railway lines at Mayfield this morning.
The body of the 18-year-old was found near a bend in the coal rail line, just off Scholey Street just after eight.
Police and rail inspectors say it now appears the man had been riding on top of the train and fell between wagons as he was trying to climb down.
