Two women have been charged after police seized drugs and cash from a car near Taree.
At around 10pm on Monday night, police pulled over a Land Rover Discovery along the Pacific Highway at Croki, where they allegedly found drug paraphernalia.
It’s also alleged they uncovered 7.5 grams of amphetamine, pipes for smoking methylamphetamine and a large amount of cash.
A 40-year-old woman, believed to be a Chinese national with an expired visa, and a 41-year-old woman from Hong Kong have been charged.
They’ve been refused bail and will reappear in Taree Local Court in November.
