Three men missing on an overnight kayaking trip near Dorrigo, near Coffs Harbour, have been found safe and well.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter located the men beside the Bobo River shortly before 11 o’clock this morning.
Police found the group’s vehicle at their starting point at Frogs Hollow and concentrated their search downstream.
It’s believed the men missed their river exit point and were forced to take shelter when it became dark.
” They climbed to higher ground so they wouldn’t be affected by the moisture and everything, they got small fire going obviously to get warm and they slept they didn’t have many supplies though I believe.”
