After several months of hard knocks, the Newcastle Region Art Gallery has something to celebrate.
A thought-provoking Brett Whiteley designed sculpture is now taking pride of place outside the gallery… alongside a Laman Street that’s finally reopened to traffic.
Brilliant!!! people will come from near and far to view this magnificent work of art thanks to the Director Ron Ramsey and his competent gallery staff.
Wendy Whitley too should be congratulated, and especially by the Mayor Jeff McCloy and General Manager Ken Gouldthorpe on her philanthropy.
This is all a culmination of the great important work that a gallery director can do for a city and Ron Ramsey ticks every box.
This is a win win for Newcastle.
