A former firefighter, who lit two bushfires during extreme heat conditions at Nabiac, will spend at least 10 months behind bars.
Ricky Ballard-Lestrange was in the company of his two children, when he sparked the blazes just a few kilometres from his own home on February 12.
The 32-year-old was handed the 22-month sentence in Taree Local Court Today.
