The Rail Infrastructure Corporation will review the safety of a Beresfield overpass, following a rock attack on a passenger train.
Large rocks were thrown from the Lawson Avenue bridge last Saturday, smashing the train’s windscreen.
Police are still searching for the culprits.
The corporation says the overpass could be added to a list of others in the Hunter deemed high risk, which are currently having screens installed.
