One in eight Hunter men will be affected by prostate cancer during their lives, a figure 40 per cent higher than the national average.
Today, the Hunter Prostate Cancer Alliance received a special vehicle, which will be used to help raise awareness of the disease.
The alliance purchased the vehicle thanks to a $100,000 donation from the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation.
