MOKO MAGIC IN MARLINS WIN

The Central Coast Marlins have moved to seventh on the Sydney Major League Baseball table after an emphatic victory against Macarthur.

The match started slowly with no score after the first four innings, but a fielding error gave Adam Howe a base hit at the bottom of fifth and the floodgates opened.

Adam Blight brought Howe home, and then Boston Red Sox import Moko Moanaroa smashed one out of the park for a three run lead.

Pitcher Paul Anderson was pivotal in the nine-nil win, keeping the Colts scoreless.

The Marlins face third-placed Canterbury on Wednesday night.
