WARNERS BAY CLAIM WIN IN NNSW WPL

In round 16 of the Women’s Premier League, Adamstown came from a goal down to draw with Merewether, while Warners Bay cemented its position at the top of the table by beating New Lambton.
It didn’t take long for the Panthers to find the back of the net – Jenna Kingsley opened their account.
The Warners Bay striker then doubled the advantage soon after.
New Lambton showed glimpses of magic – Georgia Amess claimed one back.
Before Nadja Squires secured the result with a late goal.
Meanwhile, the season appears to be over for Merewether’s Jamee Ellis, after she suffered a dislocated kneecap.
