Parts of the Hastings are on flood alert today.
More than 300 millimetres of rain has fallen over the past two days.
Further rainfall is possible over the next 48 hours which could result in river rises at Kindee, Wauchope and Settlement Point.
Motorists are being warned to avoid driving through flood waters which could be deeper or faster-flowing than they look.
