A man is dead after he was hit by a car while walking on John Renshaw Drive near Kurri Kurri this morning.
Police say the incident happened at Buchanan just before 4am and the man’s injuries are so significant, they’ve been unable to identify him.
A 20-year-old man driving a Holden sedan was treated for shock at Maitland Hospital, and is now helping police with their investigation.
