New South Wales and Knights winger James McManus has suffered an off-season setback, fracturing a bone in his foot.

Coming back from a serious ankle injury that ruined much of his ’09 season, the Darwin-raised Scotsman damaged the same foot at the weekend.

Scans confirmed the bad news today, that he has a Jones fracture.

Expected to be sidelined for two months, McManus will be back for round one of the regular season, as he also tries to win back his Blues jersey.
