More Northern New South Wales footballers have joined the centres of excellence program.
17 promising young players from the Manning-Great Lakes region have been selected to receive elite coaching during the off season, to help improve their playing skills.
Today they got the chance to have a kick, before receiving a cheque for $88,000, which will fund the program.
The 10 to 12 year-olds will be taught how to think tactically while on the pitch and also improve their technical skills.
