SHOCK TACTICS TO SELL MELANOMA MESSAGE

Highschool students have been given a high-impact lesson about the dangers of over exposure to the sun.
You could have heard a pin drop at Whitebridge High, as survivors of skin cancer spoke about going through the ordeal of having a melanoma removed.
Melanoma survivor Erin Lewis said “I couldn’t believe that my time in the sun had done that much damage to my body.”
Hunter Melanoma Foundation spokesperson Jenny Noblet said, “Our aim was to shock, to get the message across to them.”
Among the speakers was Knights player, Corey Paterson, whose uncle died from melanoma at the age of just 27.
