Kurri’s Chad Reed has moved into outright fifth in the American Supercross Series, following a dramatic round in Florida.
Reed qualified second fastest for the 20-lap final, but ran seventh early.
The Australian managed to avoid several crashes, before the tight, twisting track eventually got the better of him.
But the former world champion recovered to finish fifth, with American Ryan Dungey claiming the victory.
