345 Hunter Water workers won’t go on strike, after the company approved a new workplace agreement.
Staff members had threatened to walk off the job, unless they received the same redundancy entitlements as their colleagues at Sydney Water.
They also wanted a three-year guarantee, amid fears a change of government could see a move to privatise Hunter Water.
