JEWRY BRIDGE CLOSED THIS SUNDAY OCTOBER 22

Regular users of the Jewry Street Bridge will need to find an alternative route this Sunday while construction work takes place.

The closure will run from 6am until 5pm as Tamworth Regional Council works to replace the 50 year old sewer rising main, running from Swan to Darling Streets, weather permitting.

The sewer main replacement will allow for further roadworks to take place along Manilla Road in the future.

Motorists may need to use Scott Road or Bridge Street to cross town during Sunday’s closure.
