Your family are in my prayers.
I understand that the media are “just doing their job” but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Do they not think about how family and friends would feel seeing that. There was no need to show his mother like that. Have some respect!!!!!!

Any major crash event is reported by radio, print and television media, and at the police media website. In this day and age, if one has a family member involved, one is sometimes best advised to keep the news off for a while.
Media are obliged to report crashes, the ‘cost” is most dear to surviving family, but society also bears cost in all its form, not just financial.
Sometimes from coverage, lessons are learned, improvement in road network infrustructure made.
