A massive convoy of trucks rolled into Newcastle this morning, as part of Transport Awareness Day.
Close to 200 big rigs travelled from Sandgate to the foreshore, delighting crowds along the way.
In it’s 16th year, the day raises money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
It’s estimated up to $100,000 was raised today alone.
