Police pursuit ends in flames in East Ballina with offenders still on the run

A driver is on the run after a police pursuit in the Northern Rivers.

Police spotted the stolen black fiat hatchback on the Bruxner highway at Wollongbar yesterday after midday… soon calling off the chase due to safety concerns.

The car was later spotted on fire in East Ballina.

Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
