A bill will be introduced to state Parliament this week, to ban pet shops from selling pets.
The woman behind it, Sydney’s Lord Mayor Clover Moore, was on the Central Coast today, congratulating two pet shop owners on their choice not to sell live animals.
This is a great move to prevent animals from being held in those tiny glass boxes at the pet shops. It has been a long time comming. Thank you Clover Moore. Janet Wells
