DUST RETURNS TO NORTH WEST
Another dust storm has blown across the north west, blanketing parts of the region.
Residents awoke to the haze early this morning.
North westerly winds of up to 70 kilometres an hour brought the dust from the state’s far west, where farmers have been battling severe drought.
Although visibility was reduced, the storm didn’t produce the orange glow nor the same amount of dust as last month, which was arguably the region’s worst storm since 1957.
The Bureau of Meterology expects the haze to hang around until tomorrow.
