FINES ISSUED AFTER COFFS CUP

Police issued more than $7000 in fines for alcohol related offences at the Coffs Harbour Gold Cup race meet yesterday.

While drink driving, failing to leave a licensed premises and drinking in a public place were the most common offences, police say the majority of race goers were well-behaved.

It’s part of a police crackdown on anti-social behaviour and alcohol related crimes in the region.
