A major bushfire fundraiser is set to be held at Byron Bay’s Beach Hotel, auctioning off – among other things – a training session with actor Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, and a tennis lesson from Pat Rafter.
Other stars to donate goods for the auction include artist Ben Quilty, Powderfinger, and surfers Joel Parkinson and Mick Fanning.
The ‘Make It Rain’ event will feature performances by Bernard Fanning, Wolfmother Arc, Jackson Carroll and more, with all funds raised going to the Northern Rivers RFS and far north coast fire brigades.
It’ll be held on January 8 and 9.
