THIRD PROPERTY RAIDED AS PART OF CARLY MCBRIDE INVESTIGATION

Police have searched a third property in the Upper Hunter, as part of their investigation into the death of Lake Macquarie woman Carly McBride.
Officers seized several items seized from a storage shed in Scone, including five firearms, ammunition and other prohibited weapons.
Earlier this week, a home at Muswellbrook and a property at Scone were also raided.
The 31-year-old was last seen on Calgaroo Avenue in Muswellbrook two years ago – her remains were discovered west of Scone last month.
Ms McBride’s death is being treated as suspicious.
