The lawn bowls action continued today at Port City’s $66,000 Champion of Champion Pairs.
As expected, big-name players Wayne Turley, Steve Glasson and Canadian Ryan Bester are all through to the quarter finals.
The local pairing of Peter Taylor and Mark Prior, from Westport Bowling Club, also remain in contention after solid performances in today’s playoffs.
With one of the biggest prize pools on offer in the country, the four-day tournament has attracted most of the nation’s top lawn bowlers.
The event wraps up tomorrow, with the finals being played in the afternoon.
