OXLEY HIGH CELEBRATES 50 YEARS

The last Oxley High School magazine has been released, as 50 years of memories was celebrated today.

The Tamworth City Bowling Club full of past staff from every decade, dating back to 1967.

“It might go from afternoon into the evening as people remember back, to some of them back to 1968. There are four or five people from the first year of the school here,” organiser, Peter Hooper.

While the magazine nearly dissolved a few years ago, it’s pushed forward to the Jubilee celebrations to release it’s final ‘Golden edition’.
