It was state-against-state at the National Surfmasters Titles in Port Macquarie today, with Wayne Hudson and Wayne Morrison among those flying the flag for New South Wales.
Morrison made the most of the dismal swell, posting a solid score on his final wave of this afternoon’s teams’ challenge.
The combined efforts of the state’s five chosen surfers in the semis saw the team progress through to the final.
The surf masters continues tomorrow with more individual events, and is expected to remain at Lighthouse Beach where increased swell is predicted for the week ahead.
