TWEED TRADIE TRIES HIS LUCK IN REPCO RALLY
A Tweed tradesman will soon be able to scratch one dare-devil dream from his bucket list.
Glenn Brinkman is the only local competing in the Repco Rally next month, and today proved he’s ready to face the world’s best.

So much for the rally organisers repeated claims that speeds during the rally would NOT reach speeds around 200 k’s an hour as claimed by local community members opposed to the rally!!
How many lies have they told now? Is anyone counting?
Great to see a local competitor in the rally and a local business being contracted to do the trophies!
I wish them all the best!
Good luck to our local boy Glen, it’s great to see a local competing with the worlds best drivers and it’s so good to see a welcome influx in tourist dollars into the region in this time of recession, the cash inflow to the region and the towns of Kyogle, Kingscliff and Mullwullimbah are a god send and i welcome them into my town with open arms. Thank you NSW Govt and Repco Rally Australia for reviving our dying towns and supporting small business and local government.
Good Luck Glen!
Glad to see all the locals getting behind this world class event.
I hope the helicopters don’t uncover too many Dope plants. That would be a real shame!
Juleroo- Time for a lay down…
Good Luck Glenn & Harvey, I know you will both be great ambassadors for the sport of rally and also for the local region. I hope the locals will get behind you during the rally.
Anyone that is invovled in rally, will know only too well how much money will be inject into the local area over weekend. Plus many people will come back to the area to holiday and explore the area, if they are made feel wecolme in the area.
It is amazing that a sport that is done all over the world comes to our humble shores.
I am sure that all persons involved in the rally from competitors to the hundreds of volunteers that make these events possible will make Australia proud. To the small minority that appose the sport, get over it, get on with it, get involved with it, and hey you might even enjoy yourself rather than sitting back whinging and whining.
Good luck to Glenn & Harvey
