A group of Port Macquarie students has mixed it with some of the best young minds in the nation, and won.
Tacking Point Primary School’s Tournament of Minds team has returned from Brisbane after winning the Australasian and Pacific title, in the language and literature section.
It’s the first win at this level for the school, which placed second in the same tournament last year.
The six-person team made its way to the top by winning at regional and state level.
The Tournament of Minds program tests students on their ability to solve problems creatively.
