STAPLES’ SIZZLING SWIM AT SHORT COURSE

Kincumber’s Lachlan Staples swam the third fastest 100-metres butterfly of all time by an Australian, to win bronze at the National short course championships in Hobart last night.

The 19-year-old will compete in his pet event, the 200-metres butterfly on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Teigan Van Roosmalen won bronze in the 50-metres butterfly, and silver in the 200-metres individual medley.
