NORTHERN NSW WOMAN INJURED AT ANTI ADANI RALLY

A woman from northern New South Wales had to be flown to hospital, after she was injured at an anti Adani rally in Queensland.
The 62-year-old was part of a group protesting at Clermont, around 300 kilometres north west of Rockhampton, when a horse rider rode through the middle of the demonstration.
Witnesses say the man and his horse knocked a gate as they made their way through the protest, which in turn struck the woman.
She’s now recovering in Mackay Hospital with suspected spinal injuries, while a man is being questioned by police.
