Tamworth Regional Council ratepayers will begin receiving their annual notices from today.
A record 25,873 rate notices are being mailed out, with a total value of $48.97-million, $4-million more than last year.
A Tamworth business received the biggest bill, just over $67,000.
The smallest notice, for a farmland block at Barraba, came in at $199.
The first rate instalments are due to be paid at the end of August.
