The search for a 45-year-old fisherman who went missing off Evans Head on Friday, has been called off.
Lismore’s Michael Endres set out on his regular fishing trip early in the morning, travelling 15 kilometres out to sea, but never returned.
His boat was found during extensive air and sea searches that day, but there has been no sign of the skipper.
Police believe Mr Endres wasn’t wearing a life jacket.
