A P-plate driver has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and mid range PCA after a fatal collision with a cyclist near Grafton this morning.
Police say a 68-year-old man died at the scene on the Summerland Way at Koolkhan at around seven o’clock after he was struck by a Toyota Hilux being driven by a 19 year old man.
Officers allege the teenager returned a breath test of 0.125.
He’s been granted conditional bail to appear at Grafton Court next month.
