A 17-year-old male has appeared in Tamworth Children’s Court, charged over a stabbing in Barraba on the weekend.
It’s alleged the teenager stabbed and punched a 24-year-old man after a fight broke out in a house in Henry Street on Saturday night.
The victim was taken to Barraba Hospital, where he received stitches to his right arm.
A teenager was arrested a short time later and charged with reckless wounding.
The case has been adjourned until the 21st of July.
