An elderly woman was given a nasty fright when she lost control of her vehicle at Lake Macquarie early this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about eight o’clock, after she drove up a gutter and almost into Dora Creek.
The woman was rescued by ambulance officers and wasn’t injured.
