Gwydir Shire residents will head to the polls tomorrow to elect a new council member.
Four people have nominated for the bi-election, to replace retiring councillor Doctor Clem Gordon.
Dr Gordon resigned in April, just weeks after passing a vote of no confidence in Mayor Bob Tremain (TRE-MAIN)
The motion was supported by four other councillors who claim they were unhappy with the Mayor’s leadership and a controversial plan to allow free camping on the Gwydir River bank.
