Olympic hurdler Kyle van Derkuyp passed on sprint racing in Tamworth today, instead speaking with elders at the Aboriginal Olympics.
Almost 300 from around the state gathered to compete in the annual competition, which involved everything from boot and boomerang throwing to darts.
