BULLDOGS DRAG SWANS DOWN TO EARTH
The Gunnedah Bulldogs have ended the Swans undefeated run of form in the Tamworth AFL competition.
In wet conditions the dogs kicked 15 goals, 10 behinds to defeat the premiership favourites by 35 points. Young Gunnedah recruit Sam Naismith was named man of the match, finishing with three goals to his name.
Inverell made it back to back wins against the Nomads. Despite both teams winning two quarters, the Saint’s accurate kicking allowed them to claim victory by 53 points.
The Kangaroos fell seven points shy of a new competition record for largest winning margin, defeating the cats by a staggering 221 points.
