Former Farrer star, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs has been named a shadow player for the New South Wales State of Origin side.
The inform forward, who recently re-signed with the Canberra Raiders until the end of 2011 is one of three players on stand-by to replace unfit players.
The call up comes on the back of an impressive start to this year’s season, following a disappointing 2008 which saw Learoyd-Lahrs plagued by injuries and suspension.
