Police say they’re fed up with the behaviour of drivers…during Operation Safe Return, which wrapped up last night.
Over the long weekend…more than 500 people were caught speeding…
16 thousand breath tests were conducted..with 34 drivers charged with drink driving.
” It’s been around for a long time the offences that exist i don’t know how much more we have to explain to people that you don’t drink and drive”
Police are also reminding drivers school zones are now back in effect.
