A 29-year-old man, who was hit by a truck in Tamworth, is still fighting for his life in Newcastle’s John Hunter hospital.
He was attempting to cross the New England Highway yesterday morning, when he was struck by a fully laden semi-trailer near the Hall Street crossing at Nemingha.
He was taken to Tamworth hospital before being flown to Newcastle, suffering serious head, chest and abdominal injuries.
