A man in his mid 30s died in a house fire at Argenton on Saturday morning.
Fire investigators don’t believe the incident is suspicious.
Neighbours and a fire crew found the man inside the Lake Road house just after 7o’clock, in a room thick with smoke.
They tried to revive him, but, he died at the scene.
No-one else was in the house at the time, the damage was mostly confined to the bedroom.
Investigators are looking at whether a cigarette caused the fire.
