Controversial former Socceroo Ljubo Milicevic has launched a stinging attack on his own club, the Newcastle Jets.
Tired of what he claims is unprofessional management, Milicevic’s tirade also included a shot at the club’s owner, and leaves his immediate playing future in doubt.
Late today, Jets management responded by telling NBN News, the club won’t be pressured into making decisions on players’ contracts by their team mates.
While preferring not to be drawn on whether Milicevic will face a possible sanction for his comments, the club admits he isn’t helping his chances of a contract.
