Tamworth is one step closer to its much anticipated indoor aquatic centre with council investing heavily to get the project up and running.
General Manager, Glen Inglis, says we’ve also set aside a couple of hundred of thousands of dollars to do phase one of the detail designs and business plans and operating plans for Tamworth’s new aquatic centre.
The Scully Park project was put on the back burner last financial year.
It’s now expected to be built over the next two to three years.
